How Airtel's 4GB data/per day Offer Can be Yours Too

Airtel has introduced its Rs 999 plan for its prepaid customers late September. As part of the plan, prepaid Airtel customers could avail 112GB of 3G or 4G data at Rs 999 for 28 days (4GB per day). This also has unlimited local & STD calling. In case you’re wondering how you can avail this plan, below are the steps:
  • - Download the My Airtel app from the App Store or Google Play Store.
  • - Login with your phone number or email ID
  • - choose the plan browsing section & look for for the Rs 999 plan.
  • - choose the plan & proceed with the payment process.
  • - You can pick multiple methods for payment including debit cards, net banking or via mobile wallets. You can also pay using Airtel Money.

When compared to Reliance Jio's Rs 999 plan, Airtel is giving 22GB additional data to its users. The Reliance Jio 999 plan offers 90GB data for ninety days with no FUP limit. Though the price is the same, but Jio is offering validity of ninety days & Airtel's offer comes with validity of 28 days.

Aside from the Rs 999 plan, Airtel prepaid consumers can as well go for the Rs 695, Rs 795, Rs 799, Rs 899 or Rs 1198 plans too. The company in September also started a 30GB "bonus" data offer for new users. Under this offer, new Airtel postpaid customers will get 10GB data per month for the period of three months. The offer will be withdrawn after the completion of 3 months. The company added that the offer is only valid on 4G handsets & will be provisioned after 96 hours of SIM activation.

In September, Airtel also rolled out a data plan of Rs 5. Airtel's Rs 5 plan is for prepaid users & it offers customers 4GB of 4G data. But, the validity of this data is only for 7 days & this offer is also available for 4G handset users.
